Support your local Craftsman.

When you buy direct from us you support a whole local community of artisans and craftsman that we have relationships with.

We look for quality designer/makers and local artists and we bring them to you thru our site. We don’t just resell …we design, handcraft and install our racks all over Los Angeles & Southern California. We invented the Hawaiian Gun Rack brand of products and helped start a new form of turning your storage problem into art.

This gives us working knowledge and experience to know the quality of the products we seek and offer. We like to meet new local artesians to discover their talents that a lot of people don’t know exist and we hope to make those introductions via our interactions.

In May we partnered with the Venice Family Health clinic and Google studios in Venice, California with several Venice artists and their surfboard art that were auctioned off to raise money for the clinic to help people in need from the local Venice community.

Our surfboard racks and paddle board racks are unique and stylish enough for any home, office or Store front and several weeks ago… Restoration Hardware called us to advise and install our wooden vertical wall racks to add to their new store located on the Santa Monica promenade. R&H-finsOne of the designers visited our shop in Carson California to look first hand at what we had to offer and after some questions we agreed to install our Blonde Vertical Surfboard rack for their 4 vintage style long boards for their new store display. They picked up 2 surfboards from Travis Reynolds, a local Santa Cruz shaper, 1 Yater and 1 Anderson surfboard from Mollusk, a local surf shop with 3 locations in southern California.

These surfboard were retro “logs” reminiscent of the late 1960’s with a beige color scheme and redwood stringers to blend and accent the beige walls with dark wood trim surrounding the hallway entrances to the inside of the store.

And true to our original design a local craftsman sent us a picture from the east coast of our Hawaiian Gun Rack Mahogany surfboard rack being used at an Art Gallery to exhibit an amazing piece of surfboard art by Jonathan Nimerfroh  called “Slurpee Surfcraft”.
